A family portrait is the most valuable and meaningful piece of artwork that you can have hanging on your wall. As the days roll into years and the years roll into decades documenting your family life (be it your children, parents ,siblings or fur babies) becomes even more important to remind us of the memories that will fade as we ride the merry go round of life. I always strive capture the tradition family portrait of eyes forward and smiles wide. Because these shots are important. However this will only ever take up the smallest amount of my time, the remaining time is spent encouraging my families, couples, children to walk, talk and play! I love capturing these spontaneous impromptu real moments that are always so full of love and emotion. Last month I finally had the opportunity to photograph my brother and his beautiful family (it was a long time coming wasn’t it Jen!) . These photos will not only be cherished by them but also by Nan, Poppy, Nonna, granddad, ME! They will become a timeless asset for so many people. We had such a fun relaxed afternoon in an environment that we were all so comfortable in! The bush with our boots on! It was a great way to celebrate Miss D’s Second birthday! I hope that you love these photos as much as I do and that I have inspired you to dust of your cameras and capture more precious moments like these!
