When deciding to delve into the wonderful world of blogging I honestly didn't know where I would start! I have always been able to string a sentence together however my spelling and grammar skills leave a lot to be desired (Just to give you an idea my year 12 english teacher wanted to buy me a dictionary as a graduation present!)
Now I know you will all be wondering what manual settings I used for this little baby and I shall tell you .... three clicks to the right on my bright yellow 24 shot Kodak disposable camera. I had to buy this after my grandmothers film camera was giving me a electric jolt every time I took a photo! oh yes I was such a pro back then.
In all seriousness this image is very important to me . It may not be my best photo nor the most technically correct image however I go to this photo when ever I am needing inspiration and reminding of where I am going with my photography.
The contrasting colours and the long straight disappearing road reminds me that sometimes it is a long and some times bumpy road that leads you to greatness. I strongly believe that no matter what it is, if you love something you don't necessarily need natural talent or have all of the mod cons, what you do need to do is work hard at mastering your craft and always be open to learning and improving yourself no matter how old you are and how long you have been doing it. I have been taking photos for 13 years however I am only just now starting to explore the world of professionalism and I no that I still have so much to learn !
Ok so I will stop now with the deep and meaningful and thank you for reading this far ! I can not wait to start sharing more stories and maybe some tip from time to time !
